My name is Kornpreya Emery or I am known to most as 'Jip'. I'm the face behind all the baking and decorating of your dream wedding cakes.

 

Since I was young, I always enjoy arts, crafts and cooking but not until after I left the corporate world behind and became a mother of two lovely little munchkins that I found my passion for cake decorating. I started off by trial and error, gathered experiences from making celebration cakes for friends and family. Later on I attended a few cake decorating /sugar flowers making classes to learn more professional techniques.
 

In 2012 my passion of cake decorating has turned into a career and lead to the opening of JipsCakes. Since then the business has grown and I am now a full-time cake maker/ decorator.

 

I bake and decorate all my cakes in our family 16th century cottage in the beautiful village of birchanger, just outside Bishop’s Stortford, Essex.  I offer a highly professional and personal service from the initial consultation to the delivery and set up of your memorable wedding cakes.

I was named a Finalist for 2014 and 2015 in Wedding Cake Designer of the Year category by Essex Wedding Award and Jip’s Cakes has become widely known in  South-East England especially Essex, Hertfordshire and London.

JipsCakes is fully registered and inspected by Uttlesford District Council. we were awarded with a 5* Hygiene rating. the company is fully registered with HMRC and insured  So you can be sure your cake is in safe hands.
