How to book your wedding cake...

  Tasting and Consultation


after getting in touch and you are happy with the preliminary quote, we would invite you to a wedding consultation. The consultations are held at our home in, birchanger,  Bishop’s Stortford. The session lasts around 45 minutes to 1 hour. While trying our delicious cake samples, you will be able to view our display cakes, photos from our portfolio and talk through details of your cake design. The final quote will be given to you and we ask that you confirm your booking with us within 2 weeks after the final quote is given. 
 

As all of our cakes are made to order, everything can be altered in colour or size. if you cannot see something suitable, we can design something bespoke for you. Please feel free to bring along samples of anything you would like incorporating into your cake design such as colour samples, fabric swatches, invitations, etc.

There is a £25 fee for the consultation which will be deducted from your final invoice should you book with us.

the virtual consultation is also available upon request, in this case the cake samples will be sent to you by post using special next day delivery by royal with an extra cost for Postage and packaging.

deposit and balance
 

We require £100 to secure your wedding cake booking. The balance payment is due 6 weeks before the wedding date. please also read our

terms and conditions

Delivery Info
 

Wedding cakes are fragile and it is important that they are transported and handled correctly so we recommend that we deliver the cakes to the venue. We will deliver your cake on the morning of your wedding and ensure that it is displayed correctly and safely.  please get in touch for the quote for your delivery cost.

cake stands

​

We have lovely cake stands that can be borrowed to accompany your cake. you can book your cake stand with your cake order and this is on first come first serve basis. we request that the cake stand is returned to us within 3 days after your event. We do not charge for our stand but we would ask for a  security deposit in case of any loss or damage. The deposit  will be refunded once you have returned the stand to us.
